We are seeking a Land Survey Technician in our Woburn, MA office. This professional will be a skilled and experienced Land Surveyor who also possesses strong AutoCAD design abilities. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for conducting land surveys, preparing detailed drawings using AutoCAD software, and collaborating with engineers and architects to ensure accurate and efficient project development.Responsibilities:
- Conducting field surveys to determine precise locations and measurements of points, elevations, lines, areas, and contours on the earth's surface.
- Analyzing survey data, maps, and other information to plan projects.
- Using AutoCAD software to create detailed drawings, including site plans, profiles, and cross-sections.
- Collaborating with engineers, architects, and construction personnel to ensure project requirements are met.
- Providing accurate documentation and reports.
- Ensuring compliance with legal regulations and health and safety standards.

Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
- Associate’s degree (2-year) in Civil Engineering Technology, Land Surveying Tecnhnology, or related field.
- Typically requires at least 5 years of experience in land surveying; experience may be substituted in lieu of education.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD software for drafting and design.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Effective communication and teamwork abilities.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
