Registered Nurse (RN) - Office of Community Care

Prometheus Federal Services (PFS), a trusted partner to federal health agencies, has an opening for multiple Registered Nurses. This position will perform administrative functions for the Office of Community Care. The work will be on-site at the Rocky Mountain Regional VA Medical Center in Aurora Colorado as well as the Glendale, CO office location.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Clinically review consults / requests for completeness and appropriateness / utilization review.
• Dispositioning care in the community per utilization review and guidelines. 
• Clinical review of incoming medical records documenting communication with order providers and PCP.
• Coordination of care - corresponding with veteran, community providers, internal providers / nurses, and admin staff to ensure the care and authorization for care requested is processed.

Minimum Qualifications

• Must have two (2) years of relevant experience in the past three (3) years.
• Must have Associates or Bachelors in Nursing from ACEN or CCNE accredited program
• Active / Unrestricted State RN License
• BLS (AHA) Certification
• Must be able to read, understand, speak and write English fluently
• Must have basic typing and PC Computer skills
