Job Summary
This project focuses on leading the design for the core platform, with a primary goal of shaping the future of workforce management and emerging marketplace products. The initiative involves redefining user experiences, improving platform functionality, and driving innovation to support both businesses and workers in the evolving gig economy. The design efforts will prioritize usability, scalability, and integration, ensuring that the platform remains at the forefront of industry needs and advancements.
Responsibilities
Lead 0-to-1 product design for workforce management and marketplace experiences.
Define and optimize user workflows, ensuring seamless interactions for both sides of a marketplace (if applicable).
Partner closely with product managers, engineers, and stakeholders to align design strategy with business goals.
Conduct user research, gather insights, and rapidly iterate based on feedback.
Develop high-fidelity prototypes, wireframes, and design systems for scalable product growth.
Advocate for UX best practices while balancing business and technical constraints.
Own designs from ideation to release
Qualifications and Job Requirements
5-8+ years of product design experience, with a strong portfolio showcasing complex B2B or marketplace products.
Deep expertise in workforce management software (e.g., scheduling, labor optimization, HR tools) OR marketplace platforms (two-sided user flows, transactions, trust & safety).
Proven track record of designing 0-to-1 products—you can navigate ambiguity and turn rough concepts into polished experiences.
Strong systems thinking and ability to design scalable solutions.
User-centric but business-savvy—you ask the right questions and align design with company goals.
Excellent communicator who can articulate design decisions and collaborate across time zones (ET overlap required).
Self-starter who is eager to dive into a new domain and become a subject-matter expert.
