organization. As a Pricing Analyst, you'll be at the forefront of crafting cutting-edge proposals for both Government and Commercial customers, while playing a pivotal role in shaping the future of defense technology within our Integrated Strategic Solutions portfolio. Your expertise in cost burdening and fee application will ensure accuracy in the buildup of proposal cost/price, while setting the stage for successful fact-findings and negotiations. This role will be performed ONSITE in our Collins Aerospace location in Cedar Rapids, IA.
What YOU Will Do:
Responsibilities:
- Develop, analyze, evaluate, coordinate, prepare and support proposals in accordance with request for proposal (RFP) for both government and commercial customers in compliance with company and regulatory policies and processes.
- Thoroughly understands cost burdening and fee application to accurately build up proposal cost/price.
- Prepares financial summaries, performs detailed analysis, and breaks down information into key takeaways allowing Management to make informed business decisions.
- Partners with contracts and is capable of supporting customer fact-finding, negotiations, and DCAA/DCMA audits.
- Collaborates with leadership and various functional teams to gather information, share insights, facilitate informed decision-making.
- Assesses the financial implications of pricing strategies and ensures accuracy and integrity of current cost and pricing data.
- Aids the proposal team in identifying, assessing, and quantifying proposal risks and/or opportunities.
- Participates in internal/external audits with supervision.
- Ensures compliance with internal policies and procedures and FAR/DFARS requirements.
Expectations of the role:
- Possessed knowledge of U.S. Government Contracting Regulations.
- Detailed review and analysis of customer proposal documents.
- Ability to articulate thoughts and express ideas using effective oral, written, and nonverbal communication skills.
- Organized and maintains a system for keeping track of tasks and priorities.
Qualifications You Must Have:
- Typically requires University Degree and minimum 5 years prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 3 years of experience or in absence of a degree, 9 years of relevant experience.
- Must have or be capable of obtaining a US Department of Defense (DoD) security clearance. Candidate selected will be subject to a government security investigation/reinstatement and must meet eligibility requirements.
- U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.
