About the Role:

Cruise is looking for an experienced and creative Sr. People Technology Solutions Engineer II to join our People Tech team to develop and deliver solutions across Workday and other HR platforms with a focus on business enablement, user experience, and scalability. This position will play a key role in collaborating with our team to help drive core HR programs, improve processes, and lead major cross-functional projects.
 

What you will be doing:

  • Cultivate robust relationships with internal partners, comprehensively grasp key initiatives and business requirements, propose process enhancements and technological solutions, and be responsible for projects spanning from straightforward to intricate.

  • Innovatively address business demands, ensuring solutions are both creative and scalable.

  • Lead projects from inception to completion by showcasing system capabilities, gathering requirements, offering design and solution suggestions, configuring systems, facilitating testing phases, and being responsible for seamless deployment.

  • Offer ongoing support, handling ticket prioritization, system troubleshooting, user assistance, exploration of alternative solutions, and fulfillment of minor enhancement requests.

  • Lead the configuration and administration of business processes, reporting mechanisms, security protocols, and Enterprise Interface Builder (EIB) tasks across various Workday modules.

  • Evaluate new Workday features and execute regression testing during release cycles to assess their impact.

  • Uphold data integrity throughout Workday and connected systems, ensuring compliance with data governance and security protocols.

  • Document operational processes, provide support for end-user training, and contribute to the creation of concise reference materials.

  • Champion best practices, comprehensive design approaches, and meticulous testing methodologies to uphold system stability and deliver high-quality outcomes.
     

What you must have:

  • Consistent track record in HRIT or related systems analyst roles, including HRIS configuration and implementing solutions

  • 8+ years of demonstrable hands-on Workday development, configuration, implementation, and support experience focused on Benefits and Time Tracking

  • In-depth knowledge and experience of Workday foundational concepts, business processes, security, reporting, calculated fields, touchpoints, and release cycles

  • Solid understanding of HR processes and programs, employee life cycle, and HR data flows

  • Excellent project management and verbal & written communication skills; ability to translate business needs into technical requirements and effectively communicate technical information to a non-technical audience

  • Ability to partner with collaborators at all levels, influence decision making, and apply change management principle

  • Quick learner of new technologies; “outside-the-box” problem solver who enjoys finding creative and scalable solutions to business challenges

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

The salary range for this position is $142,800 - $210,000. Compensation will vary depending on location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. You may also be offered a bonus, long-term incentives, and benefits. These ranges are subject to change.
