Summary
HII Mission Technologies is seeking an Intelligence, Surveillance, and Reconnaissance (ISR) Subject Matter Expert (SME) Director who will work remotely to support our government clients as well as our proposal development team. In this role, you will review and evaluate existing and planned ISR and environmental systems, processes, and programs across the DoD and IC to ensure the BA Portfolio is optimized to meet the operational warfighter, acquisition community, and senior policymaker needs. SME duties include research and analysis, recommendations, development of position papers, responses, talking points, memorandums, briefings, and correspondence as required on all critical ISR capabilities.
This is a part‑time position; scheduled hours may vary and are not guaranteed.
What You Will Do
- Serve as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) for Intelligence, Surveillance, and Reconnaissance unmanned, AI, and/or autonomous or robotic solutions supporting our various government clients' missions.
- Assist in the management, organization, assessment, and monitoring of the determination, organization, and prioritization of ISR collection requirements.
- Integrate requirements across tactical, operational, and strategic levels of operations which include direct support to the planning and operations staff to identify capabilities and limitations of enemy forces and identify potential enemy vulnerabilities.
- Provide SME support to proposal development with an understanding of multiple ISR platforms and collection methodologies.
- Support the production of Annexes and Appendices to Deliberate and Contingency Plans. Develop, recommend, and implement OPSEC and signature management into supported operations.
- Provide liaison and coordination between combatant commands and their components as well as US Govt. Interagency.
- Participate in committees and working groups concerned with developing ISR planning and CONOP development.
- CONUS and OCONUS travel may be required.
- Attend conferences, workshops, and meetings in support of the company and client objectives.
- Other duties may be assigned, as necessary.
What We Are Looking For
- 10 years relevant progressive experience with Bachelors in related field; or 8 years relevant progressive experience with Masters in related field.
- A minimum of five (5) years of experience within the last 10 years as a program/project manager on DoD projects in Unmanned, AI, and/or autonomous or robotic solutions.
- A minimum of three years within the last 15 years working directly for or in support of a functional or geographic combatant command.
- Current Lean-Six Sigma Greenbelt or higher, or experience as a Scrum Master.
- Strong problem-solving skills and creativity in developing alternative sources of non-traditional information for DOD customers
- Valid US Passport
- Clearance: Must possess and maintain a Top Secret (TS) clearance with the ability to gain an SCI based on a Single Source Background Investigation (SSBI).<
