Sr. Digital Product Manager – Surgical Planning Solutions

Primary Function of Position

Responsible for setting strategic product vision, managing product roadmap and guiding teams and stakeholder through to success

• Has clinical understanding about surgical planning
• Provides deep product expertise needed to make strategic product decisions. Analyzes market and competitive conditions, laying out a product vision that is differentiated and delivers unique value based on customer demands
• Takes on ‘Product Owner’ hat (as part of the product team) to drive delivery with the development team by translating requirements and managing the backlog

Roles And Responsibilities

• Set ambitious and clear product vision and communicate it effectively to internal and external stakeholders as well as the team
• Takes on Product Owner role (following Scrum) leading the development team and manages delivery of product vision
• Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure digital vision and products align with team strategy and requirements
• Owns and reviews product specific OKRs that are understandable both by internal & external stakeholders of varying organizational levels
• Facilitates release planning with stakeholders as well as sprint demos
• Collaborates with designers to integrate usability studies and research into product requirements to ensure customer-driven design
• Align outward facing product requirements and stakeholders
• Works closely with Product Director / Head of Product to establish product team’s business value and support messaging, communication and customer outreach as necessary

Qualifications and key skills:

Domain skills

• Knowledge of standard concepts, practices, and procedures within healthcare or regulated industries
• Knowledge and experience with digital product strategy and development
• Understanding and knowledge of customers and how they interact with product offering
• Familiar with entire Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), Agile Development, DevOps and Scrum

Craft

• Proficient in managing product backlog/release plan, tracking team level metrics, facilitating and leading agile ceremonies, removing blockers (burndown chart, release burn up)
• Ability to gather requirements and translate them into a product vision through in-depth expertise in product development, engineering, and UX
• Proficient in high quality product delivery, including planning, dependency management, and delivery execution & governance
• Experienced in collaborating with cross-functional teams from tech, design, and business
