As our portfolio continues to grow, so do our Corporate Teams! Mark-Taylor is hiring a Renovation Project Manager to join our operational leadership team.

The Renovation Project Manager serves as the central point of coordination for all unit renovation activities, ensuring seamless project execution that meets established timelines, budget targets, and Mark-Taylor quality standards. This role is highly cross-functional, balancing operational needs, vendor oversight, resident relations, and project management to drive the successful transformation of apartment units while maintaining a positive resident experience. 

We're Excited to Meet You! Ideally, You Will Bring:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Project Management, Construction Management, Business, Real Estate, or related field is preferred.
  • 3-5 years of project or construction management experience, with a strong preference for multifamily housing.
  • Understanding of property management operations, renovation workflows, and vendor/contract management. 
  • Familiarity with OSHA regulations, building codes, and utility coordination. 
  • Skilled in project planning, scheduling, budgeting, and cost control.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to manage diverse stakeholders. 
  • Highly organized, self-motivated, and adaptable with a proactive, solutions-oriented mindset. 
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel, and experienced with project tracking and property management software.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple priorities.

You're Excited About This Role Because the Job Duties Include:

  • Lead and manage full-cycle renovation projects, including scope, scheduling, budgeting and resource management. 
  • Develop and manage detailed project schedules, ensuring timely completion of milestones. 
  • Coordinate and oversee contractors, vendors, and utilities to ensure quality and adherence to project specifications. 
  • Maintain consistent, proactive communication with residents to minimize disruptions during renovations. 
  • Manage lease renewal strategies to align with renovation timelines and unit availability. 
  • Conduct regular site inspections and escalate quality or workmanship issues as needed. 
  • Identify and mitigate project risks, resolving challenges swiftly to maintain progress.
