Job Overview:
The Quality Process Engineer supports beverage and food manufacturing operations by improving process performance, strengthening quality and food safety systems, and reducing operational risk. This role provides technical expertise in water systems, sanitation, aseptic processing, hot-fill operations, juice/food manufacturing, carbonated soft drinks, packaging, and new product launches.
The role partners with R&D, Quality/Food Safety, Engineering, Operations, Maintenance, and Supply Chain to improve process controls, resolve and eliminate quality issues, support validation, and ensure compliance with company standards and regulatory requirements.
Key Responsibilities
Lead process and quality improvement initiatives across beverage and food manufacturing operations.
Investigate quality defects, process failures, consumer complaints, and food safety concerns using structured root cause analysis to develop and implement technical solutions to optimize systems and eliminate waste
Provide technical support for water treatment and sanitation systems, and various filling, processing and packaging operations
Support startup, commissioning, qualification, validation, and change management activities.
Analyze quality and manufacturing data to improve process capability, system effectiveness, and manufacturing reliability.
Lead or support cross-functional improvement projects, technical procedures, standards, training, and site capability building
Utilize data analysis and risk management tools to identify and develop plans to reduce risk and waste across manufacturing operations
Total Rewards:
- Salary Range: $55,700-85,000
- Actual placement within the compensation range may vary depending on experience, skills, and other factors

Requirements:
Required Education & Experience
Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering, Food Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Biological Engineering, Food Science, or a related technical discipline.
3-5 years of experience in food, beverage, dairy, juice, or consumer packaged goods manufacturing.
Minimum 3 years supporting process engineering, quality engineering, food safety, or manufacturing operations.
Demonstrated experience with water systems, sanitation programs, CIP/SIP, aseptic or thermal processing, root cause analysis, and process validation.
TPM / Lean Six Sigma
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with hot-fill, low-acid, high-acid, aseptic, or multi-site beverage manufacturing.
Knowledge of sanitary design, microbiology, CQV, and food safety systems.
ASQ CQE, TPM or Lean Six Sigma certification
