Position Summary

 

The objective of the Director, VM Operational Analytics role is to provide governance and oversight over PG&E’s risk-prioritized operational planning and execution activities, supporting the lines of business as they advance their ability to make data-driven decisions by improving the accessibility, quality and use of information/data and maturing analytical capabilities. This function is the single point of accountability for the enterprise-wide management of vegetation management data as an asset and coordinates the data governance and management initiatives across the enterprise.

 

 

This position is hybrid, working from your remote office and your assigned work location based on business needs. The assigned work location will be within the Service Territory.

 

 

Salary

 

PG&E is providing the salary range that the company in good faith believes it might pay for this position at the time of the job posting. This compensation range is specific to the locality of the job.  The actual salary paid to an individual will be based on multiple factors, including, but not limited to, specific skills, education, licenses or certifications, experience, market value, geographic location, and internal equity.  Although we estimate the successful candidate hired into this role will be placed towards the middle or entry point of the range, the decision will be made on a case-by-case basis related to these factors.​

 

A reasonable salary range is:

 

Bay Area Minimum: $186,000

Bay Area Maximum: $316,000

Or

California Minimum: $177,000

California Maximum: $300,000

 

 

Reporting Relationship

 

This role reports to the Vice President, Vegetation Management.

 

 

 

Job Responsibilities

• Incorporates market and industry trends into strategic planning and development of Strategic Plan. Provides oversight of status reports to senior leaders, conveying key strategic industry information.
• Oversees business operation functions including safety, operating reviews, data analysis and visualization, risk and compliance, and change management.
• Ensures operational analytics within Functional Area run aligned to enterprise strategy standards.
• Oversees planning, learning strategy, communications, and industry benchmarking, visual management strategy and development.
• Collaborates with leaders and teams to develop and implement internal and external change management strategies communications.
• Partners with Directors/Senior Directors across the LOB to review operational and financial information and to
