As a Data and Systems Manager, you will lead the strategy team to transform GTMO to boost data-empowered decision making and unlock Artificial Intelligence potential. Collaborate with partners to articulate data and systems ownership and value generation strategy. Work closely with our partners in TIS to strategize what is possible, feasible, and practical to deliver business value from technology perspective. • What You Will Do:

• Manage the prioritization and development of the GTM Data & Systems Strategy, including program business cases, to ensure that key GTM data is captured, maintained and readily available to facilitate fit-for-purpose and timely decisions and ensure safety and compliance.

• Ensure data strategy, plans, projects and activities are aligned with asset performance targets and overall GTM strategic priorities.

• Facilitate and support rolling out Artificial Intelligence tools to the boost GTM productivity such as CoPilot and Power Automate platform.

• Find opportunities for optimized processes for collection, maintenance and integration of GTM data to boost data-empowered decision making.

• Ensure GTM data processes leverages innovative and practical solutions by data owners to ensure safe and reliable operations while delivering a competitive advantage

• Develop GTMO strategy by considering known data set dependencies and process breakdowns to enhance the data confidence and value creation.

• Provide leadership in the development of the GTMO data sections of executive level reports and presentations

• Support the influence of industry data standards to strengthen our industry with respect to the utilization of the best available data, technologies and processes.

• Serve as the lead data spokesperson for GTMO data activities and events and overall DSS engagement

• Ensure continuous improvement of the data systems and processes associated with the accountabilities described herein so that learnings and feedback are understood and, as necessary, are incorporated into systems.

• Demonstrate regular ability to speak in front of leadership partners, facilitate cross functional meetings, and create key messages for change management. Results from this will enable the change required for impacted partners

Required: 

• Bachelor’s degree Business, Management of Information Systems, or equivalent

• 10 years of related experience (Data Systems implementations desired with deep understanding of implementations in an open systems environment) with specialized experience in the areas of pipelines.

• Proven leader with both 5 to 8 years of leadership experience as well as formal leadership training to support the execution of effective leadership practices.

• Proficient in facilitating strategy ideation and development workshops.

• Hands-on experience in designing at least one Data capability model with data owner RACI defined.

• Hands-on experience in implementing at least one Data maturity model.

• Field Ops and/or Engineering experience or other pipeline industry related experience is an asset.

• 5 to 8 years of experience in external partner management through effective engagement.

• Able to effectively mentor and support the growth of emerging leaders within the team.

• Ability to interpret impact to the Company of diverse business and data issues.

• Ability to communicate to a wide audience, including employees, all levels of management, industry associations and regulatory agencies.
