The Global Mobility Senior Associate at RSM is crucial in retaining and aligning talent to career opportunities across the firm and its global network. will support the program in the areas of U.S. and global immigration, project management, international and domestic assignments and relocations, and international business travel compliance. Collaborating closely with Talent Acquisition, Talent Operations, HR, Tax, Payroll, Benefits and Business Leaders, among others, this individual drives mobility opportunities for internal employees and educates them on global mobility processes and best practices, contributing to RSM's vision of an unrivaled inclusive culture and talent experience.
Responsibilities:
Work with global mobility leadership and multi-disciplinary teams including HR, payroll, finance and tax in supporting the full lifecycle of global assignments including: assisting in running cost projections, creating and administering assignment and relocation agreements, articulating and organizing immigration and assignment procedures, assisting participants throughout the process, and coordinating efforts with internal and external partners to ensure a highly efficient and smooth experience for participants.
Serve as point of contact for international business travel assessments and compliance activities. Engage and collaborate with relevant internal and external stakeholders to ensure compliance with immigration, tax, IT, and duty of care guidelines. Provide "case management" for non-US immigration requirements of international business travelers. Collaborate with external vendors on the initiation and administration of immigration.
Collaborate with external vendors on the initiation and administration of immigration and global and domestic assignments or relocations. Establish strong relationships with external vendors; provide direction and assistance to vendors as needed. Communicate clearly and effectively on immigration requirements, government procedures, case processing times to HR, employees and appropriate business leaders. Carefully track and monitor critical deadlines and proactively identify and discuss with appropriate individuals.
- Create supporting program material to educate stakeholders on mobility processes and best practices. Responsible for maintaining relocation, immigration and international business travel resources for internal partners and employees to include: FAQs, policies, intranet, and process documents.
Stay aware of market trends and business challenges, benchmark with industry peers and gather market data to ensure mobility programs are aligned with changes in market, business and/or regulatory conditions. Make recommended program updates as needed. Collect and analyze internal and external data and insights related to talent mobility initiatives, generating regular reports to track program effectiveness and identify areas for improvement.

Qualifications:
EDUCATION/CERTIFICATIONS
Bachelor degree or equivalent experience – required
Human Resources or related field emphasis – preferred
Any one or more of the following certifications are preferred: Certified Compensation Professional (CCP) or Global Mobility Specialist (GMS), or Global Professional Human Resources (GPHR) or Certified Relocation Professional (CRP) certification
EXPERIENCE
Required minimum of 3 years of Experience in: Global Mobility, non-US Immigration, experience working with 3rd party vendors.
Experience with US Domestic Relocation
- Ability to work independently, multitask, and prioritize workload.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills.
Preferred:
- Experience in global and domestic U.S. mobility programs including working with full cycle immigration and tax processes
- Experience in international business travel programs
- Working knowledge of the professional services industry and functional expertise in Talent Acquisition and HR preferred.
