About the Role:

The Team:

The selected candidate will be part of the S&P Global Technology Cloud & Infrastructure team managing the enterprise Vulnerability Management solution.  The team manages a platform which is used to deploy mission critical patches, as well as for the development of automations, to mitigate risk across the S&P Global multi-cloud environment. 

Responsibilities and Impact:

• Serves as the most senior technical member of the organization tower, providing guidance and setting direction for architectural and strategic activities.
• Works with both onsite and remote teams to ensure that high-quality solutions are delivered in a timely fashion.
• Mentors engineering and/or infrastructure teams in best practices with a focus on delivering consistently high-quality solutions with supporting test cases and documentation.
• Develops and delivers long-term strategic goals for technology infrastructure services architecture vision and standards in conjunction with Service Provider(s), data users, department managers, clients, and other key stakeholders.
• Develops and maintains architectural governance, stewardship, and frameworks for managing technology across the organization.
• Defines requirements for implementing the appropriate tools, software, applications, and systems to support appropriate technology goals.

Compensation/Benefits Information: (This section is only applicable to US candidates)

S&P Global states that the anticipated base salary range for this position is $152,000 to $260,000. Final base salary for this role will be based on the individual’s geographic location, as well as experience level, skill set, training, licenses and certifications.

In addition to base compensation, this role is eligible for an annual incentive plan.

What We’re Looking For:

Basic Required Qualifications:

• Broad technology experience and demonstrable experience solving complex performance problems that may relate to other areas of technology (e.g. information security, storage, LAN, WAN).
• Experience delivering solutions in a hybrid cloud environment that spans public clouds and on-premises data centers to virtualize infrastructure and move workloads between environments to meet business objectives.

• Excellent knowledge of the best available tools, software, applications, and systems for attaining best-in-class IT technology across the enterprise.
• Excellent technical leader with proven, extensive experience in multiple technical infrastructure design areas and in technology management.
• Proven ability to conduct research into emerging technologies and trends, standards, and products as required.

Additional Preferred Qualifications:

• A Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, related field or equivalent experience
• Experience in the financial markets a strong benefit
• Ability to work hands-on with technology solutions.
• Excellent interpersonal and consultative skills.
