Senior Staffing Specialist

About the role
This Operations position coordinates the staffing process, identifies forecasting trends and supply and demand needs, as well as collaborates with the Talent Acquisition team and international teams. This position reports to the Director of Staffing.
Job Duties
Core Responsibilities – 80 %:
- Operate Staffing Function and maintain staffing tracking tools – 60%
- Review and triage incoming resource requests, and escalate requests as needed based on set criteria
- Work with project and account teams to refine staffing requests based on team structure best practices and resource availability
- Evaluate role alignment options based on resource skills, experience, and career trajectory information shared by resource’s career coach
- Execute tactical tasks of staffing function to assign resources to requests
- Ensure data capture and integrity of allocations, bench, rotations, and attrition – including but not limited to within staffing tool
- Identify and investigate potential creative solutions to adjust staffing roles, roll-off dates, team structures, etc. to meet staffing priorities
- Collaborate with Practice SMEs for escalations and hard-to-fill roles, and effectively manage conflict resolution as needed
- Utilize all of the sources of supply to meet demands (e.g., internal, external, or contractor recruitment and offshore teams)
- Report on level of urgency and importance to help prioritize incoming staffing requests and expedite requests, as needed
- Organize staffing requests by date and keep tracker updated based on when requests are closed out
- Ensure employee bench time is used effectively
- Ensure employee profiles in skill tracking tool are complete and up-to-date and maintain skills metadata
- Collaborate with Campus Recruiting and Intern Program teams to ensure successful initial staffing and internship role matching
- Monitor SLA adherence
- Research, and propose enhancements to help improve tools, processes, and/or roles and responsibilities
- Support the maintenance for staffing related tools and systems
- Monitor utilization trends for fluctuations in supply and demand and perform analysis on Forecasting trends and data – 20%
- Report on both actual and forecasted utilization on weekly, monthly and annual basis; analyze trends and fluctuations
- Ensure supply aligns with demand and if there is a skills gap that actions are in place to address the gap, including up-skilling or re-skilling
- Report on concerns as staffing requests are created, updated, and closed
- Monitor unstaffed revenue opportunities to reduce avoidable negative impacts to revenue
Supportive Responsibilities – 20%:
- Support the Talent Acquisition and Human Resources teams
- Serve as a liaison between the Staffing, Talent Acquisition, and Human Resources teams on fluctuating staffing needs
- Provide report insights to Talent Acquisition regarding upcoming campus and experienced hire recruitment needs
- Support international staffing to make sure resources for internationally based accounts are optimally allocated and recorded
- Assist in developing any staffing related communications, announcements, and presentations
- Update staffing materials and training within the company portal, learning and development materials, and communications
Qualifications
Knowledge & Skills:

- Understanding how projects work and how to deploy resources to deliver projects is essential
- Methodical approach to work with good attention to detail and strong logic and reasoning skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite products, particularly Excel
- Strong desire to learn new systems and processes
- Self-motivated and able to use initiative
Education & Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree or comparative experience
- Good to have: 3-5 years of relevant experience in operations and client delivery
