Overview
A residential and commercial refrigeration manufacturer is seeking a Regional Sales Manager with a hybrid role, representing and expanding both our residential and commercial sales markets in Hawaii. The ideal candidate would be based in Hawaii and will be expanding and growing distribution and market share throughout the regional territory. Accounts and territory are defined by the Director of Sales and Marketing.
The Regional Sales Manager will report to the Director of Sales and Marketing for both Residential and Commercial divisions, but will also work closely with the Customer Service, Parts, and Technical Service Managers.
Responsibilities
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
- Establish and develop relationships with key distribution partners, chain accounts and designers across residential/ foodservice, retail, ice, and scientific divisions.
- Establish and develop relationships with identified National accounts where applicable.
- Establish and develop service network with key service companies in assigned territory.
- Provide constant dealer/consumer feedback on development of products, marketing pieces and POP/POS for dealer showrooms.
- Provide detailed feedback on competitor information to the Marketing Department.
- Submit detailed weekly call reports that outline key points from customer visits.
- Assist with credit/collections when necessary.
- Analyze and work with factory on development of pricing programs/marketing promotions/etc. for assigned market.
- Utilize Autoquotes to develop pricing quotes for projects within the territory.
- Utilize customer service for follow-up and smaller account key communication.
- With support of the factory/marketing department - create and conduct product knowledge sessions on a regular basis with dealer sales reps.
- Periodically bring key customers to factory for product training/relationship building.
- Work with the True Service Department on continuing education/training of service agents in assigned territory.
- Attend and work the True booth at various industry tradeshows.
- Develop schedule to maximize the amount of time spent in front of key customers while minimizing travel expenses.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED) required.
- Bachelor's degree preferred.
- Five or more years of related experience required.
