Physical Therapy Aide

Description

We are seeking a highly motivated and compassionate Physical Therapy Aide to join our team. As a Physical Therapy Aide, you will work under the supervision of licensed physical therapists to assist patients in their rehabilitation process. 

Responsibilities:

- Assist patients with exercises and stretches as directed by the physical therapist

- Prepare treatment areas for patient use

- Clean and maintain equipment and treatment areas

- Monitor and record patient progress during therapy sessions

- Communicate with physical therapists regarding patient progress and any concerns

- Provide excellent customer service to patients and their families

Requirements

- High school diploma or equivalent

- Previous experience in a healthcare setting preferred

- Knowledge of basic anatomy and medical terminology

- Ability to follow directions and work independently

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

- Physical ability to assist patients with mobility and transfers
