About the role:

Our company venture, Winona is looking to hire a full-time remote Director of Finance/Operations. You will be responsible for setting departmental budgets, setting department and product based KPIs, and driving forward daily operational decisions to force success and drive top line growth while improving EBIT margin.

Seniority Level: Senior Executive

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop, manage, and continuously monitor departmental budgets to ensure financial discipline and resource allocation optimization.

• Define and establish department-specific and product-based KPIs to measure and improve performance.

• Provide leadership and direction to the operations team, ensuring that daily operations run efficiently and effectively.

• Implement process improvements and operational best practices to drive productivity and quality.

• Work closely with the executive team to develop and execute financial strategies that drive top-line growth while improving EBIT margin.

• Identify opportunities to optimize costs and enhance profitability through cost analysis and strategic cost control measures.

• Evaluate and mitigate financial and operational risks by implementing risk management strategies and contingency plans.

• Ensure compliance with financial regulations, reporting requirements, and industry standards.

Requirements:

• An MBA or similar qualification

• Senior experience in finance and operational leadership positions

• Professional experience in finance, including roles like investment banking, CFO, accounting, and operations, such as Director of Operations level roles

• Proven experience in financial management and operations leadership roles, with a track record of achieving financial and operational targets

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams.

• Proficiency in financial software and tools

• Leadership and team management experience

Nice-to-haves:

• Knowledge of the healthcare technology industry

• Experience operating SaaS or other technology subscription-based businesses
