SGS Italia is looking for an Oracle EBS Country Coordinator (Italy). The role is the main point of contact in Italy for any Oracle EBS (internally referred as BOSS) related issue. He/she ensures the coordination between our international BOSS team (internal Oracle support team) and Oracle users based in Italy. The candidate will work to provide operations support, process tickets, support identification and resolution of issues, support requirements and testing.

Responsibilities: 

• Coordinate requests and activities of the BOSS (Oracle EBS) Superusers;
• Coordinate and get local approval for new business requirements;
• Ensure that any User has the proper training on BOSS;
• Coordinate local technical activities with Local IT;
• Coordinate test / UAT for global or local evolution;
• Overall understanding of the Modules in scope of Oracle ERP solutions enabled in the country. Involvement/Ownership over the Oracle related processes. Control over topics active in country including Incidents, Service Requests, Demands, Enhancements. Project working with international Project teams;
• Coordination of the appropriate in-country testing activities whenever required Globally or locally;
• User access management (requests to Oracle support to create-update-disable Users and Responsibilities);
• Act as first line/second line support for Oracle EBS;
• Various activities related to the integration between local systems: execution systems, or other local systems including support, improvement, troubleshooting;
• Coordinate and train local in-country superusers on new features;
• Scheduling and Control on processes automated in Oracle for a given country;
• Assist with annual audits – provide data to auditors etc.;
• Ensure that interfacing records with errors in interface tables are cleared;
• Participate in testing of global change requirements;
• Manage Oracle EBS tickets escalation.

Qualifiche

• College diploma or University degree in the field of computer science and/or 5 years equivalent work experience.
• Experience in Oracle EBS R12 on any of the following process:
  • Order to Cash (O2C)
  • Record to Reporting (R2R)
  • Procure to Pay (P2P)
  • Cash management (Apro)
  • Purchase Order
• Experience on supporting testing activities including unit testing, regression and user acceptance testing
• Fluent in Italian and English (both written and spoken)
• Excellent Excel skills
• Advance knowledge of PowerBi (preferred)
• Excellent oral communication, listening, interpersonal, and written communication skills
• Willingness to share knowledge with team members, superiors, and users
• Ability to listen to users in a courteous and friendly manner, acknowledge the reality of their problems, translate their descriptions into technical terms, fix the problems, and explain the solutions in terms the users can understand
• Excellent customer service skills, including the ability and willingness to communicate effectively and appropriately in an empathetic and understanding manner.
