Job Description:
Position Summary:
The HR Intern will play a key role in supporting Microchip’s talent acquisition efforts, with a primary focus on identifying, engaging, and building pipelines of qualified candidates for open job requisitions at Microchip. While you may assist with other tasks, sourcing top talent will be your primary responsibility in this role.
Key Responsibilities:
- Proactively source candidates who are a match for open job requisitions using various channels and sourcing techniques.
- Assist managers with creating and updating requisitions in the Applicant Tracking System (Workday).
- Manage and update the LinkedIn recruiter training guide for the HR team.
- Explore and recommend new sourcing tools and techniques for the HR team.
- Assist with various HR projects and administrative tasks as needed.
Requirements/Qualifications:
- Actively pursuing a degree in Human Resources or a related field (Junior or Senior)
- Technical proficiency with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to multitask and reprioritize with little notice.
- High attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
- Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality.
- Professional, dependable, and able to work independently as well as with a team.
- Availability to work a minimum of 15-20 hours per week.
