Senior HR Operations Specialist
SUMMARY:
The Senior HR Operations Specialist will provide a moderately complex level of day-to-day support for the HR Operations function including responsibilities in Benefits, Payroll, and HRIS. These responsibilities will include processing data transactions, data auditing, learning and assisting with Payroll and serving as a backup for Payroll processing, and supporting Benefits activities as needed. The individual will use knowledge across these HR Operations disciplines to respond to associate questions and problem-solve, providing timely, thorough responses and resolutions.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Process bi-weekly payroll and related items. Verify time & attendance, accurately calculate and process salaries, wages, bonuses, and other timely compensation, complete payroll audits, and address any discrepancies or issues.
- Maintain Workday Human Capital Management (HCM) module for updating associate data and organizational movement.
- Answering/resolving problems related to routine HR questions concerning payroll, benefits, Workday, onboarding, etc.
- Identifying ways for HR to continuously improve in the solutions it offers to employees and managers
- Keeps up-to-date with the latest updates to Workday and continues to create enhancement to Workday. Leverages technology to improve ways of working throughout the business.
- Supports the benefits lifecycle including open enrollment, compliance, invoicing, financial tracking.
- Supports other processes including compensation processes and immigration.
- Supporting the HR Operations team with administrative duties
- Providing excellent customer service and build solid working relationships with employees, managers, leaders and colleagues in other corporate functions (Finance, Business Analysis and Business Operations).
- Providing support to prioritized HR Operations projects and processes.
QUALIFICATIONS, SKILLS, AND EXPERIENCE:
- Bachelor’s degree or 3-5 years of experience
- High level proficiency with Microsoft Office
- Workday experience preferred
- Excellent oral and written communication skills and must be able to effectively and clearly communicate with internal and external stakeholders
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to prioritize multiple competing tasks seamlessly and with excellent attention to detail and follow through
- Works well under pressure
- Ability to identify solutions and solve problems
- Ability to take initiative and work independently
