Our talented staff of more than 450+ professionals deliver integrated planning, design, engineering and construction solutions to our clients from our offices throughout Ohio, Indiana, Michigan, West Virginia and Alabama.

Due to MSG's continued growth in our Environmental Division, a new opening is available in our Lansing, Michigan office for an Environmental Engineer!

Key Responsibilities

• Perform environmental site assessment/investigations, hazard and risk identification, multi-media monitoring/sampling, and inspecting/documenting site conditions.
• Conduct air, soil, sediment, groundwater, surface water, soil gas and waste sampling.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Working knowledge of federal, state, and local environmental regulations is required.

Preferred Skills, Knowledge & Expertise

• Bachelor's degree in geology, biology, environmental science or similar.
• OSHA 40 hour & HAZWOPER.
• LBP Risk Assessor/Inspector & ACM Building Inspector are a plus.
• Must have a clean driving record and pass a drug test / background check.
• The ideal candidate will possess 1-5+ years of previous environmental consulting experience.
