Overview
The Digital Data Evolution Project Manager is responsible for managing and tracking legacy reduction activities to corresponding enterprise supported tools and solutions. The Digital Project Manager will coordinate all activities between the business and solution/product leads to ensure our investment in modern tools and technologies is realized and outdated, no longer needed technology is decommissioned. Digital Project Manager plan and facilitate efforts to deliver projects on time, within budget, and in scope, while aligning with business priorities. Key responsibilities include defining project scope, goals, and deliverables in alignment with SGWS objectives, creating and executing project plans, and coordinating resources. Additionally, the Digital Project Manager evaluates compromise between project size, complexity, cost, urgency, risk, and stakeholder value, and leads cross-functional meetings to facilitate resolution of issues
Primary Responsibilities
- Manage multiple projects/initiatives that can be very complex in nature and cross many different data domains/product teams.
- Create project plans and schedules to deliver expected project outcomes on time, within budget, and within scope to meet SGWS, department, and/or stakeholder business needs.
- Track and report progress on project deliverables and key milestones to sponsors by documentation of progress and generating weekly status reports.
- Identify project dependencies, issues, and risks in order to facilitate mitigation.
- Collaborate with project sponsors and team members to resolve project challenges and/or project team performance concerns.
- Identify and coordinate resource needs, escalating, as needed to mitigate risk.
- Ensure timely alignment of project teams and key stakeholders on project goals, objectives, and success criteria.
- Provide ongoing constructive feedback to project team on deliverables and overall project performance.
- Apply structured project management concepts, practices, and techniques utilizing available tools such as Jira.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to define success metrics for high-quality outcomes
Minimum Qualifications
- 5+ years’ experience of managing projects and delivery
- Demonstrated knowledge of Report Applications (ie Tableau, Power BI) and DBases (SQL, MS Access). Order to Cash (ie SAP, Sapphire) is a plus but not required
- Bachelor’s degree in related field (e.g., Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Administration, etc.) or equivalent combination of education and work experience.
- Strong experience with project management tools, software delivery, and an understanding of technology concepts.
- Native-level proficiency/fluent in English.
- Experience in DevOps and Agile technology environments (preferred).
Preferred Qualifications
- Knowledge of project management methodologies (for example, those of PMI, PRINCE2, and agile approaches) and PLC stages.
- Experience in DevOps and Agile technology environments (preferred)
- Demonstrated knowledge and hands-on experience with Agile methodologies and Scrum practices, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, retrospectives, and backlog grooming to drive iterative delivery and team collaboration.
- Order to Cash (ie SAP, Sapphire) is a plus but not required
- Knowledge of methods and practices for defining project strategy and plans, driving continuous improvement, defining and operationalizing project
