POSITION SUMMARY

The accounting representative is responsible for the daily completion of finance division work in accordance with policies and procedures, including daily reconciliations, accounts payables, financial reporting, and special projects. Seeking candidates with at least one year experience, preferably in financial/banking industry. Expertise with Fiserv G/L systems preferred. Local candidates who are able to work hybrid in office required.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

• Complete daily accounting function processing for Sunrise Banks to ensure that processing is completed in a timely, accurate manner while maintaining adherence to policies and regulations. Includes but not limited to Accounts Payables and the Reconciliation of General Ledger Accounts, Bank Controlled Accounts, Investment Bond Accounting, Accruals and Prepaids.
• Maintain and update the IT billing email folder and related SharePoint site.
• Responsible for coordination of quarterly Federal and State income tax payments.
• Ensures compliance with all laws and regulations pertaining to accounting practices.
• Performs other responsibilities and special projects as assigned.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE

• High school degree or GED Required
• College degree in accounting or business-related field preferred.
• Accounting experience required, as follows: Level 1 = 1 year, Level 2 = 3 years, Level senior = 5 years in $500MM FI.
• Experience in the financial industry preferred.
• Superior skill set in the use of the following software applications: Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook.
• Solid analytical skills and knowledge of accounting processes and FASB standards.
• Expertise with Fiserv GL systems preferred.

COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS

Annual salary range DOQ: $37,450 - $53,500 - $69,550
