Description
Come GROW with us! We are looking for an Experienced, Patient-Centered, Enthusiastic Dental Assistant to serve our patients and assist our Doctors in an array of procedures. We are in need of a Team Player who is dedicated to taking care of the needs of our patients.
SCHEDULE:
Mon 10 AM–6 PM
Tues 8 AM–5 PM
Wed 8 AM–5 PM
Thur 10 AM–6 PM
Experience with Digital Scanning, CBCT, and Implant dentistry is preferred, but not mandatory. Must have experience in Restorative as well as Oral Surgery procedures. Must be X-ray and CPR Certified.

DESCRIPTION STATEMENT: The Clinical Dental Assistant assists the doctor and clinical team with all aspects of patient needs, with an emphasis on providing quality and compassionate care in an innovative environment that guarantees patient satisfaction and trust. RESPONSIBILITIES
- Create a welcoming environment that puts patients at ease.
- Follow Standard Operating Procedures.
- Clinical charting-all aspects: periodontal, existing restorations, proposed treatment.
- Clinical Notes—record accurate, detailed notes for all encounters with patients; record medical and dental histories and vital signs for each patient.
- Discuss recommended treatment with patients with effective communication.
- Administer post-operative instruction/assistance for all patients and procedures, including post op.
- Patient scheduling-coordinate with administrative staff to schedule efficiently.
- Attend and participate in all morning huddles and team meetings.
- Coordination of lab cases with administrative team.
- Assist doctor(s) during all procedures/exams utilizing 4 handed dentistry.
- Stocking and inventory of supplies for patient operatories, lab and other common areas.
- Proper sterilization and disinfection of dental instruments and equipment following OSHA guidelines.
- Set up/Tear down of operatories for all procedures following OSHA guidelines.
- Acquire proper digital x-rays, maintaining digital sensors.
- Maintain proper handling and techniques of all dental materials.
- Perform accurate impression taking and scanning.
- Completion of all essential lab work with competency.
- Problem solving with solution-based results.
- Stimulate new patient growth by supporting sales, marketing and promotional programs and events.
QUALIFICATIONS
- High School Graduate or GED Equivalent.
- Certified Dental Assistant or Registered Dental Assistant certificate (preferred).
- Previous dental experience.
- Computer Literacy.
- HIPPA Compliance.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
- Must be able to lift up to 15-30 pounds at time.
- Must possess physical agility required for standard dental assisting duties.
Requirements
- X-Ray Proficiency
- Coronal Polish/Sealant Certification preferred but not required
- High school graduate or equivalent
- Chairside dental assisting with a wide range of general dentistry procedures
- Sterilization protocols to OSHA regulations
- CPR certification
- Computer efficiency- charting and scheduling
- Excellent communication skills
