Infra support (Middleware & VMware Analyst)

• Infra (Middleware & Vmware Analyst):

·         Customer needs a resource who has a basic knowledge in vsphere VMware to handle the virtual machines tasks.

·         The resource should be capable of Managing the virtual machines through vCenter 

·         Providing access/console to the Linux/Windows/Application team and assisting them when they require to install/run/troubleshoot their application.

·         Resource should be having a scripting knowledge such as start/stop services to reduce manual efforts.

Requirements

·         Strong knowledge and experience with Linux/Unix & Windows Operating System.

·         Conversant in understanding existing AIGs and install & build the application environments for application team to execute the projects and enhancements.

·         Manage existing infrastructure covering VM Linux batch servers/ Windows Servers, licenses, and patch installations, etc.

·         Setup non-prod servers with Fircosoft engines and other pre-requisites for various adhoc testing requirements. 

·         Co-ordination skills with Infrastructure support teams for issue resolution in non-production instances.

·         Good knowledge and understanding of Firewalls, Network protocols, DNS, TCP/IP and proxy servers.

·         Web server administration, configuration and basic trouble shooting skills.

·         Experience in Oracle DB connectivity setup and write SQL queries and script execution etc.,

·         Co-ordination with provisioning team for any new infrastructure and software and license procurement.

·         Work closely with project and production support teams for any infrastructure related changes as part of project release.

·         Support project team during SIT, UAT and PT for all project releases.

·         Knowledge in managing & support MQ servers, queues and connectivity for non-production servers.

·         Good communication and co-ordination skills.

·         Resources with Fircosoft knowledge are desirable.
