This position will be part of the MEDICAL BUSINESS UNIT--Medical's vision is to be the partner of choice for the design and manufacturing of medical devices.

Job Overview

As an Intern in the Medical Business Unit, you will:
•    Mechanical Design engineer to review customer requirements and design a solution through product definition and development
•    Manufacturing / Process development engineering
•    Polymers. Plastics engineering
 

Responsibilities

•    Work on product development designs, testing and iterations for the Interconnect Medical business team
•    New product process development for Interconnect projects to transition properly into production.  This includes learning and implementation of troubleshooting and failure analysis mitigations.
•    Polymer and plastic process development for FEP Heatshrink, and Radiated expansion tubing projects.
 

You’re the kind of person we are looking for if you are:

•    Currently pursuing a BA/BS Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering or Plastics/Polymer Engineering from an accredited college or university
•    Have previous internship or large project experience
•    Authorized to work in the U.S. without requiring sponsorship now or in the future

Compensation  
•    Competitive base salary commensurate with experience: $18.20 – $38.64  (subject to change dependent on physical location)
•    Posted salary ranges are made in good faith. TE Connectivity reserves the right to adjust ranges depending on the experience/qualification of the selected candidate as well as internal and external equity.

Mentors serve as a guide to navigate the organization and provide additional support in their career endeavors at the company. Our program provides a holistic experience for interns that targets professional development and personal growth.
