RIGHT NOW.</p> <p> </p> <p>Due to the development of John Deere Polska Business Service Center in Poznań we are currently seeking candidates for the position of:</p> <p> </p> <p>Senior GL Accountant<br/> Poznan, Poland</p> <p> </p> <p> </p> <p>Your responsibilities:</p> <ul> <li>Perform and coordinate different accounting processes to submit accurate and timely financial results monthly, and you will collaborate well with various business partners and drive change proactively.</li> <li>Assume responsibility of monthly financial statements according to US GAAP and perform monthly reviews with our internal customers with focus on fixed assets and leasing processes.</li> <li>Act as the contact person for accounting related topics for internal departments, internal and external auditors as well as other accounting departments around the globe.</li> <li>Manage projects for standardization and harmonization of accounting processes as well as development and implementation of new processes in accounting.</li> <li>Drive continuous improvement initiatives.</li> <li>Identify tasks and processes which are suitable for centralization and coordinate transitions accordingly.   </li> </ul> <p> </p> <p>Our requirements:</p> <ul> <li>Excellent communication in English, written and verbal.</li> <li>Drive to solve problems and work in a global, interdisciplinary team environment.</li> <li>Successfully completed studies with University degree in Finance/Accounting.</li> <li>Knowledge of US GAAP.</li> <li>Ability to plan and execute tasks independently.</li> <li>Very good knowledge of Microsoft Excel and basic SAP skills.</li> <li>Solution-oriented way of working.</li> <li>Analytical skills and affinity to numbers.</li> <li>Minimum 2 years of experience in areas like Fixed Assets, Intercompany.</li> <li>Reconciliation, Cash and Reporting or Payroll processing.</li> <li>German language will be an advantage.</li> </ul> <p> </p> <p>What we offer:</p> <ul> <li>Labor contract with attractive benefit package.</li> <li>Flexible working hours.</li> <li>Daily contact with foreign language.</li> <li>Friendly international working environment.</li> <li>Possibility to work and develop within the company.</li> </ul> <p> </p> <p>Please send an English version of your CV.</p> <p><br/> John Deere is an equal opportunity employer.
