As part of our EY Cyber security, Technology Consulting team, your role will be to actively establish, maintain and strengthen internal and external relationships. You will be responsible for delivery and maintaining quality of services and deliverables on your engagements. You’ll also identify potential business opportunities for EY and GDS within existing engagements and escalate these as appropriate. Similarly, you’ll anticipate and identify risks within engagements and share any issues with senior members of the team.

 

The opportunity

 

We are seeking an experienced Cybersecurity Senior Manager to lead our efforts in delivering cybersecurity solutions to our clients. This role will focus on engaging with customers, driving go-to-market strategies, managing accounts, and overseeing a team of cybersecurity professionals.

 

Your key responsibilities

 

• Supporting practice growth by defining its strategy, technical direction, and market positioning
• Supporting business development efforts, including participation in RFPs, client proposals, and sales strategies
• Engaging with clients to understand their challenges, proactively addressing their needs, and ensuring long-term partnerships
• Providing strategic guidance and direct involvement in client engagements, ensuring the successful delivery of projects
• Leading, mentoring, and developing the team, fostering a culture of knowledge sharing and professional growth
• Developing a talent strategy, including hiring, team structuring, and skill development to meet evolving client needs
• Collaborating with internal and external stakeholders to align initiatives with business objectives
• Staying up to date with emerging trends, tools, and regulations to drive continuous improvement
• Working on Cybersecurity projects

 

As a Cybersecurity Senior Manager, you will play a crucial role in aligning cybersecurity strategies with business objectives. You will be responsible for leading client engagements, developing and executing go-to-market strategies, and managing key accounts. Your expertise will guide the team in delivering tailored cybersecurity solutions that address client needs and industry challenges.

You will also be responsible for the growth and development of the cybersecurity team, providing mentorship and support to team members while ensuring high performance on active projects.

• Strong understanding of cybersecurity principles and practices.
• Ability to develop and implement go-to-market strategies for cybersecurity services.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to engage with stakeholders at all levels.
• Experience in people management, including performance oversight and professional development.
• Proven ability to participate in RFP processes and contribute to business strategy
• Experience in client-facing roles, providing advisory services, leading discussions, and offering tailoredcybersecurity solutions to solve complex security challenges
• Strong leadership skills with experience in managing , mentoring, and developing teams, fostering a culture of collaboration and growth
• Proven ability to build and maintain strong relationships with clients, understanding their needs and delivering high-value solutions
• Ability to analyze current and predicted client needs to drive service offerings and team capabilities
• Familiarity with security and regulatory standards, including DORA, NIST, ISO 27001, and Zero Trust principles
• Strong stakeholder management, communication, and negotiation skills
• Ability to work in a continuously changing environment, proactive with a can-do attitude, looking for solutions and opportunities
• Good planning and organizing skills, with the ability to see the big picture while also focusing on details
