POSITION OVERVIEW
- The Production Associate is responsible for executing various packaging tasks under the direction of the Lab Manager. This role involves sorting, organizing, labeling, and packaging cannabis products, including edibles, concentrates, and vaporizers. Key duties include accurately measuring product weights, recording data, and ensuring compliance with Massachusetts cannabis regulations. The technician will operate packaging machinery, heat-seal products, and maintain quality assurance standards. Additionally, they will be responsible for cleaning and sanitizing equipment to meet state requirements and collaborating with team members to optimize efficiency in the packaging process. This is a hands-on production position where teamwork and a passion for product quality are crucial.

- Schedule is Monday-Friday 7:00am-3:30pm
COMPENSATION
- Starting hourly wage, $19/hourly

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Performs various packaging tasks delegated by the Lab Manager.
- Sorts, organizes, labels, and packages marijuana products for medical and adult use retail sales. Edibles, Concentrates, Vaporizers, etc.
- Packages and labels various cannabis products for distribution
- Accurately measures product with a scale, recording product weight, waste weight, and total units produced during processes
- Thoroughly cleans and sanitizes production equipment within the department in compliance with state regulations
- Utilizes various machines to accurately produce and heat seal cannabis products
- Precisely monitors and records accurate quantity totals
- Meticulously maintains quality assurance of packaged products in accordance with Massachusetts adult use and medical regulations.
- Communicates with cooperating departments and coworkers to ensure efficiency throughout the entire packaging process.

WORKING CONDITIONS
- This is a hands-on, cannabis packaging position which involves the handling of cannabis products and packaged goods.
- You will be working in an indoor production, warehouse-like environment.
- Rooms are industrially lit and feature heavy machinery sounds at times.
- Kneeling, squatting, lifting (up to 50 lbs.), bending, walking, pivoting, standing (all expected activities)
- Plant pollen is present on surfaces and in the air, extraction fumes may also be present.
*NOTE: The facility contains confined spaces that may only be accessible by ascending/descending stairwells while traveling throughout building. Must be able to stand for prolonged periods of time, bend, kneel, squat, and twist. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.
