Job Description
The University of Nevada, Reno is recruiting for a Coordinator, 21st Century Community Learning Center Program in Las Vegas, NV.
The Coordinator of the 21st Century Community Learning Center (CCLC) program will manage and coordinates services and activities that help students who attend high poverty and low-performing schools improve in academics, attendance, behavior, promotion rates and graduation rates. This position will determine and implement before and after school academic and enrichment programs and oversee the program operations at the school site(s). Areas of focus will include staff recruitment, retention and development, collaboration with external organizations, compliance, evaluation and fiscal management for the grant. The incumbent will implement aspects of the 4-H program within each school site.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree and two (2) years of related professional work experience or a Master’s degree and one (1) year of related professional work experience. Related work experience: Expertise in the field of volunteer management, experience working with a diverse group of students, youth program management; education, evaluation, program development, teaching, curriculum development, or grant management or a related field
Certification and Licensure
Nevada Driver’s License within 30 days of employment
Successful fingerprinting / background check
