A Little Bit About the Position

As Gemini Legal's Director of Marketing, you will take on the pivotal role of shaping and amplifying our brand identity across every channel and touchpoint. This isn't just about marketing - it's about building and nurturing a brand that resonates deeply with our audience and stands the test of time. As the driving force behind our brand’s strategic development, you will lead the charge in crafting a compelling and consistent narrative that sets us apart in a competitive landscape. Your leadership will guide the marketing team in creating campaigns that not only elevate our brand’s presence but also establish a lasting connection with our clients.

Beyond traditional marketing, this role requires a visionary who can harness emerging technologies, including AI, to push the boundaries of what branding can achieve. You’ll be responsible for analyzing market trends, budget management, staying ahead of competitors, and using data-driven insights to steer our brand strategy in new and innovative directions. • Location: Hybrid-Remote at our Rocklin, CA office
• Schedule: Monday-Friday, typically 8:00am-5:00pm with flexibility to accommodate marketing events and product launches
• Compensation:  $130,000-$185,000 per annum
• Travel: Travel may be required for this position up to 25% of working hours

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Communications, or a related field required
• Advanced degree and/or relevant certifications preferred
• 10+ years of progressive experience in marketing
• 5+ years of experience in a managerial/leadership role within marketing
• Proven track record of successful product launches, particularly in startup environments, ideally within the legal or professional services sectors
• Must provide extensive design and communication portfolio
• Advanced knowledge of market research, analytics, ideation, design, copywriting, social media, event promotion, and creative writing
• Must possess keen attention to detail and advanced communication skills to best convey market understanding, company initiatives, and company identity
• Presentation and public speaking
• Advanced time management and organizational skills
• Self-motivated and directed, with ability to handle a high volume of work and function in a fast-paced environment 
• Proficient using a computer, business phone, office software, video conferencing, and other computer programs including Google Workplace (Docs, Sheets, Calendar, Gmail, etc.) and project management software
• Strong knowledge of digital marketing tools, CRM systems, SEO, content marketing, and data analytics
• Proficient in leveraging AI tools to enhance marketing and branding efforts, including optimizing content creation, audience targeting, and brand development strategies
• Clean driving record and valid driver’s license
• Experience working in an office setting
