Parts Counter Associate

Role and Responsibilities

 

The successful Parts Specialist candidate acquires parts for both customers and service technicians in a timely, cost-efficient, accurate and courteous manner.

·        Prepares invoices for customers on vehicle part orders.

·        Correctly identifies the necessary parts to order.

·        Places orders for necessary parts.

·        Tracks all parts ordered and communicates status to necessary parties.

·        Follows proper cash handling.

·        Properly receives and verifies standards are met during deliveries.

·        Pulls proper parts for Technicians and Customers and invoices accordingly.

·        Maintain clean, organized work areas including storage and desk areas.

·        Completes all required training as needed.

Qualification and skills

·       Valid and clean Driver’s record for the past two years. (Delivery)

·       Strong automotive background preferred. Time-management skills. Organization skills.

·       Basic Computer Skills. Excellent communication skills in person, on the phone and online.

·       Pre-employment background check and drug screening required

·       Some heavy lifting will be required, must be able to lift up to 40lbs
