Job Description

IT Senior Developer, Service Assurance Systems

We have an exciting opportunity for a Senior Developer, Service Assurance Systems. As a key developer on our IT team, you will be responsible for system solutions in the area of Service Assurance for repair call center operations including ticketing, automations, provisioning, dispatch avoidance, AHT reduction, and integration with ServiceNow and other systems. 
 
As a Senior Developer, you will have a deep technical background in building scalable solutions to support complex business processes. As the Senior Developer, your responsibilities will include:
   

• Designing, developing, implementing, and supporting the Service Assurance systems at Brightspeed
• Providing deep technical support and hands-on knowledge for full stack needs of multiple web applications
• Participating in conceiving and designing new workflows and developing standards for coding, testing, debugging, and implementation
• Working in an Agile environment and participating in full SDLC, including full-stack development
• Supporting Cloud Platform instances needed for Service Assurance systems
• Participating in daily scrum calls, reviewing project progress, identifying issues, risks, and blockers with the deliverables 
• Supporting and executing plans for migrating legacy dispatch systems to new Brightspeed systems architecture
• Debugging and resolving production issues

Qualifications

WHAT IT TAKES TO CATCH OUR EYE: 

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience
• 2+ years of experience in Full stack development with preferably 1+ years of experience with automation platforms (UI Path RPA, Automate Services, REST / SOAP API development) 
• 3+ years of development experience with various languages and frameworks such as Python, PHP, JavaScript, jQuery, AngularJS, VB.Net
• 2+ years of development experience with Database Technologies like Oracle and MySQL
• Good knowledge of Kubernetes and Docker technologies
• Ability to understand and implement complex technical information
• Collaborative team builder with strong communication skills
• Experience working in building telecom solutions
• The ability to operate in a fast-paced environment with a laser focus on delivering results 
• Self-driven, detail-oriented, and skilled in managing multiple clients, stakeholders, and cross-functional projects 
• The ability to exercise judgment in methods, techniques, and evaluation criteria for obtaining results 
• Provide industry knowledge, experience, and best practices to help the team stay ahead of the curve in keeping our technology stack cutting edge 

BONUS POINTS FOR: 

• Technical Certifications
• Knowledge of GraphQL, Contentstack, AEM
• Experience in Agile processes and User Story creation
• Apigee experience
• Experience building Cloud-native applications with integration with the Big Data ecosystems (GCP, Hadoop, NoSql, Spark etc.)
• Experience with ServiceNow development
