A sign-on bonus of up-to $4,500 is available for this position.
Subject to applicable taxes. Paid 1/3 in first paycheck, 1/3 after 6 months, and 1/3 after one year with a 12-month commitment period. This bonus is not available to current UVM Health Network employees, or those employed within the last 12 months. Must sign an agreement acknowledging terms and conditions.
A relocation assistance bonus is available for eligible candidates.
Unit Description: Alice Hyde Medical Center is 25-bed acute care facility with an 11 bed Emergency Room. As an LPN on Med/Surg, you will be part of a multidisciplinary team that provides high quality care to a diverse patient population. General Summary:
The Licensed Practical Nurse provides direct patient care under the direction of and supervision of a Registered Professional Nurse, in accordance with the NYS Practice Act, hospital policies, and the standards set forth by Nursing Services and the Nurse Practice Council.
Qualifications:
1. Graduate from an accredited School of Nursing
2. Currently licensed as a Licensed Practical Nurse in New York State
3. Previous experience preferred
4. Excellent verbal and written communication sills
5. Ability to work with other healthcare team members
6. Meets requirements of physical/pre-placement screening
