Cloud Engineer

NJM Insurance has an immediate opening for a Cloud Engineer specializing in M365 modern workplace services and security. This position has primary responsibility for the following:

Job Responsibilities:

• Engineer high quality solutions for modern management of endpoints and applications
• Manage applications, endpoints, device enrollment and configure profiles in Intune
• Design, implement and administer endpoint security solutions and policies to ensure alignment with current threats while maintaining high performance
• Recommend and design innovative endpoint solutions leveraging Microsoft 365 technology components including Entra ID/Active Directory, Intune & SCCM
• Proactively identify opportunities for improvement
• Manage endpoint policies
• Mobile device management
• Manage, support and deploy M365 applications using on-prem and cloud-based tools
• Deploy M365 enterprise software updates and security patches
• Develop and implement automation solutions using PowerShell
• Monitor systems to identify, troubleshoot and resolve errors and optimize performance
• Maintain systems at supported levels
• Azure security and monitoring
• Create architectural, process and procedural documentation
• Provide third tier support for incident escalations

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• 5+ years of IT Infrastructure endpoint and application support experience and a Bachelor's Degree or equivalent job experience is required.
• Experience with the modern endpoint desktop life cycle,
• endpoint management, authentication and compliance, endpoint security, Office365, and threat protection tools.
• Understanding of packaging and deploying M365 products to Windows machines.
• Experience deploying and configuring M365 applications such as OneDrive, Teams, and Defender.
• Experience with user personalization and elevation (Enterprise State Roaming, Enterprise Privilege Management, Ivanti).
• Experience with SCCM, AirWatch, BlackBerry UEM, Ivanti DesktopNow is a plus. Microsoft 365 certifications including Endpoint Administrator Associate is preferred.
• Must be detail oriented, customer service focused, well organized, self-motivated, creative, and work well as part of a team.
• Must possess strong communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to multi-task and communicate proactively to management.

This position will be eligible to work the department's approved hybrid schedule.
