Sr. Financial Analyst

Sinch Email is currently seeking a hardworking Senior Financial Analyst to join our FP&A team! In this role, you will tackle complex business problems with input from cross-functional teams, build insights using analytics, drive continuous improvement of the forecasting process, and make informed judgments in recommendations to management. Additional responsibilities include being the go-to person for preparation of financial forecasts, budgets, and variance analyses. The ideal candidate will exhibit outstanding analytical abilities, critical thinking, intellectual curiosity, as well as strong interpersonal skills.
Responsibilities
- Own and refine Sinch Email's revenue forecasting models by understanding how changes in the underlying assumptions (such as bookings, retention rates, etc.) impact top line results
- Deliver accurate monthly revenue reporting
- Use market information, SaaS metrics, and leadership input to improve forecasting accuracy and provide greater insight into revenue drivers and customer segmentation
- Support the financial budgeting and forecasting cycle by partnering with go-to-market business leaders
- Act as a valued business partner by providing informed, proactive analysis and insights to enable effective decision-making
- Collaborate with peers to complete special projects while effectively managing multiple priorities
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as Economics, Finance, Business, Accounting, or a related field
- 4+ years of applicable experience in sales forecasting, corporate finance, analytics, FP&A, or investment banking
- Expert-level proficiency in Excel
- High degree of autonomy and self-motivation
- Strong analytical, organizational, and creative problem-solving skills
- Ability to balance attention to detail with expeditious execution
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Preferred
- Mastery of a data visualization tool (Tableau, Looker, Power BI, etc.)
- Technology/SaaS industry experience a plus
- Experience with Salesforce, NetSuite, Adaptive Planning, or Power Query
- Understanding of revenue accounting standards including ASC 606/IFRS 15
