This presents an exciting opportunity to develop and shape the Legal, Compliance &amp; Insurance organization from its foundation.</span></p> <p> </p> <ul> <li><span>In your role as a senior lawyer for the global compliance office, you support the development, implementation and execution of the global compliance strategy for the Coatings division in alignment with corporate objectives and legal &amp; compliance requirements.</span></li> <li><span>You contribute to the development and enforcement of policies and processes that enhance compliance.</span></li> <li><span>Furthermore, you support governance matters of the Coatings division including governance-related platforms and a variety of governance-related initiatives and projects.</span></li> <li><span>You closely collaborate with the global network of compliance officers of the legal entities of the Coatings division, support them with guidance and contribute to the coordination of the community management. </span></li> <li><span>Moreover, you give compliance advice in different expertise areas (e.g., sanctions, anti-corruption, criminal and data protection law).</span></li> <li><span>Lastly, you support the coordination of the global training and awareness program for compliance within the Coatings division.</span></li> </ul><h2><b>WHAT YOU OFFER</b></h2> <ul> <li><span>law degree (German first and second state examination) with minimum 5 - 10 years of professional experience and with minimum 3 - 5 years of experience in compliance roles in an international company, ideally in international manufacturing environments</span></li> <li><span>proficiency in the areas of compliance including sanctions, anti-corruption, criminal and data protection law is required</span></li> <li><span>proactive teamplayer with strong communication skills in German and English, able to explain complex compliance topics clearly; additional langages are a plus</span></li> <li><span>committed to value-based compliance advisory and enforcement, with the ability to demonstrate sound and independent judgement with an understanding of the business environment</span></li> <li><span>good analytical, negotiation, and collaboration skills, value-based driven with demonstrated ability to excel in a dynamic environment and work well with people from diverse demographics</span></li> </ul><h2><b>WHAT WE OFFER</b></h2> <ul> <li><span>We offer an attractive salary with individual benefits such as performance-related bonuses or a share program.
