Job Description
Responsibilities:
- Weekly and Monthly Reporting deliverables that track, measure, and communicate the results of Category Performance.
- Provide analytical support for Category Advisor with monthly insights from syndicated data pulls.
- Work collaboratively with Category Development Team to manage and track retail promotions.
- Identify and communicate weather and promotional impacts to sales.
The 80:
- Leverage 1st and 3rd party market research to understand retailer performance and develop actionable recommendations.
- Utilize existing analytical tools to streamline insight gathering for Category Development and other cross functional teams.
- Attend economic and industry specific webinars highlighting the potential impacts to ITW & ITW client’s businesses.
- Support the coordination of activities essential to category management tools and cross functional team support.
Key Deliverables to Demonstrate Success:
- Clear understanding of Automotive Aftermarket Retail and overall retail calendar cycle.
- Ability to communicate unique value proposition of Category Development to both Vendors and Retailers.
- Improve or develop one analytical tool to support future insight development for Category Development or cross functional team.
Qualifications
- Communication - Strong written, oral and presentation skills
- Analytical - Ability to decipher and analyze internal and account based data
- Advanced computer skills - MS Office (PowerPoint, Excel, Word, Outlook, etc.)
- Business Background preferred
