The Opportunity:
As Diagnostics RDS Compliance Lead you will oversee the comprehensive compliance program for Roche Diagnostics RDS. In this role, you will be responsible for architecting, managing and overseeing the governance and strategic framework for compliance and business sustainability, to support the RDS organization and ensure sustainable growth. You will effectively foster and further strengthen a culture of integrity, drive compliance risk and opportunity management and state of the art compliance programs, foster continuous improvement of the compliance and business sustainability processes, supporting the organization with an effective and proactive business oriented approach.
You will report directly to the Head Compliance Diagnostics and become a member of the Diagnostics Compliance Leadership Team. This will foster a deep and timely understanding of all activities and a proactive and effective co-creation of compliant and sustainable solutions.
Key Roles & Responsibilities:
Shape and Own Compliance Strategy: Co-create and co-own the strategic direction, operating model, ways of working, and talent management for the Compliance function globally and across business divisions.
Drive Strategy Execution: Lead the implementation of Compliance strategic initiatives across RDS, aligning with the Diagnostics Vision and building required skills and capabilities.
Lead Compliance Governance: Implement decisions from the Core Compliance Team within the RDS organization, ensuring consistent alignment with global compliance goals.
Manage Stakeholder Engagement: Set and drive the compliance roadmap for RDS by engaging key stakeholders across customer areas and functional levels (local, regional, and global), fostering cross-functional collaboration.
Ensure Risk-Based Compliance Support: Act as a key enabler of sustainable operations by providing high-quality compliance advice and managing critical compliance risks to support assurance and risk mitigation efforts.
Develop and Empower the Compliance Network: Enable a strong internal network of compliance professionals at the business area level, guiding them in executing strategic goals and managing core compliance risks.
Foster a Learning & Ethical Culture: Coach the RDS compliance team to create stakeholder value, promote a learning-oriented environment, and keep customer needs central to RDS Compliance activities.
Represent and Influence Industry Standards: Provide oversight of RDS compliance investigations, engage with regulators and industry bodies (e.g., AdvaMed, Medtech), advocate for ethical business practices, regulatory convergence, and support global digital health readiness.
Lead the RDS Compliance Network, inspiring transformative solutions and aligning with Roche Values and the VACC leadership framework (Visionary, Architect, Catalyst, Coach) to ensure compliance initiatives drive impactful contributions to the Roche Diagnostics Vision.
Who You Are:
Doctor of Jurisprudence from ABA-accredited law school, licensed to practice law in one or more of the 50 states.
Minimum of 8 years in Audit, Compliance, Risk Management, Assurance, or Governance, with international exposure and proven team leadership experience.
