Key Responsibilities:

Project Management & Execution

  • Manage HVAC projects from award through closeout
  • Perform advanced troubleshooting and provide clear, accurate repair solutions
  • Support reroof projects with HVAC disconnects/reconnects, curb work, and system coordination as needed
  • Train and mentor junior technicians; set field standards for quality and efficiency
  • Interface directly with clients, property managers, and facility teams
  • Identify upsell opportunities (repairs, replacements, maintenance agreements)
  • Coordinate with estimating and PM in the roofing division of ARSM for scope development and execution
  • Ensure all work meets manufacturer specs, code compliance, and ARSM quality standards
  • Maintain proper documentation, service reports, and photo records
  • Coordinate rooftop unit (RTU) replacements, ductwork, and curb installations
  • Ensure proper integration with roofing systems (flashing, penetrations, warranties)
  • Schedule crews, cranes, equipment, and inspections
  • Maintain jobsite safety, quality control, and project timelines

Estimating & Preconstruction

  • Conduct site visits, system evaluations, and diagnostics
  • Support estimating team with HVAC scope on reroof bids
  • Identify value engineering opportunities
  • Improve quote turnaround time and overall hit rate

Client & Vendor Coordination

  • Serve as primary contact for HVAC-related scopes
  • Meet with clients, property managers, and general contractors
  • Coordinate with suppliers, crane companies, and subcontractors
  • Build and maintain strong client relationships

Operations & Growth Support

  • Assist in growing HVAC revenue (service and large projects)
  • Track pipeline, job costs, and profitability
  • Support service team with troubleshooting and upsell opportunities
  • Identify cross-selling opportunities on roofing projects

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of HVAC project management experience
  • Strong knowledge of commercial HVAC systems (RTUs, ductwork, curbs)
  • Experience coordinating HVAC scopes on commercial construction or reroof projects preferred
  • Ability to read and interpret plans/specifications (Division 7 & Division 23 a plus)
  • Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
  • Proficiency in project tracking

    Experience:

    • HVAC : 5 years (Preferred)
    • HVAC Service: 3 years (Preferred)
