As an Electro - Mechanical Technician you will work in a thriving workshop environment overseeing the delivery of solutions to our global customer base. You will take responsibility for mechanical maintenance ensuring quality and completion. You will contribute to the success of a large team that plays an integral in our business.

As an Electro - Mechanical Technician for Drilling Services, you will be responsible for:

• Troubleshoot, test, assemble, disassemble and perform a visual inspection of electro-mechanical assemblies
• Assist in reworking, repairing and modifying non-conforming equipment
• Perform complex and difficult tests with minimal instruction and documentation
• Ability to identify and communicate technical problems by using logical troubleshooting techniques
• Provide coaching to other technicians in areas of proven competence
• Compliance with HS&E policies and procedures

To be successful in this role you will:

Qualifications/Requirements:

• High School Diploma or GED equivalent
• 1+ year of mechanical experience or experience in a related field
• Standing, walking, sitting, lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling, reaching, handling objects up to 50lbs.
• Honest and trustworthy, good work ethic, teamwork and willing to learn.
• Good communication skills with the ability to resolve issues as they arise
• Have dependable transportation to get to Work
• Ability to obtain a passport within 90 days and have the flexibility to travel international and domestic 10% of the time

Preferred Characteristics:

• Oilfield experience preferred but not required
• Electrical experience
• Familiar in the use of multi-meters, meg-ohm meters, hi-pot testers and other basic instruments
• Knowledge of power and pneumatic tools and their uses (examples: drill, grinder, polisher, sander, screwdriver, wrenches and sockets)
• Knowledge of workshop equipment and their uses (examples: air compressor, cleaning equipment, grease gun, hoist, jack, lifting equipment, measuring equipment, diagnostic equipment)
• Knowledge of measuring equipment and their uses (examples: tapes, dial test indicator, micrometer, torque wrenches, Vernier calipers
• Proficient computer experience using Microsoft Office(Excel, Word, Outlook)

• Must be willing to work a potential rotational shift 7:00am-3:30pm – Monday through Friday or 3:00pm to 1:30am – Monday through Thursday
• Overtime will be required depending on production. May be required to work Friday, Saturday and Sunday every 3rd week in a duty crew rotation
