Who we are looking for

Responsible for Proxy Teams processing of custody clients Voting.   The Proxy Team ensures  distribution of meeting notification through Vote Confirmation for all Clients holdings.   This will include monitoring of vote submission , confirmation of voting, meeting documentation and Client inquiries.     Focus will mainly be around processing Clients Power of Attorney documents, monitoring vendor meeting creation and voting are completed accurately and timely.   Ideal candidate has experience and understands all aspects of Proxy Voting and is able to utilize internal SSB and external relationships to troubleshoot instruction related issues.

What you will be responsible for

As an Senior Associate

• Risk management within Proxy operations
• Training of staff around Lifecyle of Shareholder Meeting as SME
• Streamlining of processes
• Meeting of Corporate Obligations
• Project work, inclusive of Robotics/Automation
• Daily escalation resolution

Education & Preferred Qualifications

• B.S. degree in accounting or Finance preferred

• Minimum 3 years of Middle Office and/or Front Office support experience.

• Corporate Action mechanics understanding preferred

• Knowledge of securities language preferred

• Experience around custody/accounting systems preferred

• Strong written and verbal communication ability
