Banquet Captain

A banquet captain's responsibilities include managing staff, ensuring client satisfaction, and overseeing the setup and cleanup of events in banquet spaces: 

• Managing staff

  Banquet captains may train staff, delegate duties. They may also conduct pre-meal briefings with staff. 

• Client satisfaction

  Banquet captains work directly with clients and guests to ensure they are satisfied with the service. They may also respond to customer inquiries or complaints. 

• Setup and cleanup

  Banquet captains may oversee the setup and cleanup of the event, including tables, food, and beverages. They may also check table decorations and food quality. 

• Other responsibilities

  Banquet captains may also coordinate drink service, schedule events, and ensure that sanitation rules are followed. They may also monitor staff and guests during meals and resolve any issues that arise. 

Banquet captains should be able to multitask and communicate well with multiple people. They should also have good attention to detail so they can spot and resolve any issues before the event.

Candidate has prior experience in Banquet functions. Must have open availability, including daytime, evening, weekends, and holidays. 

Must have prior Banquet Experience.
