JOB SUMMARY

At TopGolf, we call our servers Bay Hosts because they host our guests in the hitting bays. Bay Hosts provide best-in-class service with hospitality for our Guests. They are experts at the technical side of the job - knowledge of the menu and the ability to serve with outstanding attention to detail. But beyond that, our Bay Hosts make our guests feel welcome, they engage with them, introduce them to new and exciting food and beverage options, and make their visits to TopGolf and The ROW memorable.

ESSENTIAL DUITIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES (May include, but is not limited to the following) 

• Greet every guest immediately in a friendly and approachable manner
• Assist guests in understanding and enjoying the TopGolf games - including the safety rules
• Offer food and beverages and be fully aware of everything available on menu at all times
• Answer questions or make recommendations when the opportunity arises
• Protect our guests and community by observing the rules of responsible alcohol service
• Ensure the bays are clean and ready for guests’ upcoming reservations
• Provide Family Style Service to guests and ensure they are well cared for at all times
• Support the company’s Risk and Safety initiatives and programs
• Exemplify our core values, family style service, our mission and vision
• Exemplify our DEI (diversity, equity, inclusion) culture
• Perform other job-related duties as assigned

PHYSICAL DEMANDS AND WORK ENVIRONMENT (May be required in order to perform the essential functions of the position)

• Ability to stand and walk for long periods of time including maneuvering up and down stairs
• Ability to lift items weighing up to 20 lb.
• Ability to stoop and bend
• Ability to work in a restaurant/bar environment
• Work environment may include smoke and variable temperature, lighting and noise levels
• Follow standard restaurant safety and health standards
• Good understanding of the English language in spelling, speaking and reading. 

GUEST SERVICE (INTERNAL/EXTERNAL) STANDARDS:  Employee is required to meet and deliver our core values, service standards, and family style service.

PERFORMANCE REQUIREMENTS: Must have the ability to provide internal/ external guests with service excellence, have excellent communication skills and observation skills, and have an easygoing demeanor to ensure a fun and safe environment for our guests. Above average speech – both speaking and reading/writing English. Need excellent interpersonal skills. Work requires schedule flexibility which may include days off, nights, weekends, holidays, and overtime as needed.
