The Data Support Analyst is the primary point of contact for managing requests, resolving issues, managing change requests, ensuring smooth operations and effective communications with stakeholders.  The goal of Data Support Escalation is to resolve tickets and complete root cause analysis. This role understands the time sensitivity and urgency that must be paid when handling internal and external client-reported issues based on impact, severity, and priority. In this role, you will have the opportunity to interact with diverse client teams, processes, and technologies. This role will collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to analyze, troubleshoot, resolve, or triage identified data issues.

Responsibilities and Expectations:

• Manage backlogs for requests, issues, and change requests.  
• Prioritize change requests with business stakeholders and facilitate the downstream impact of each change prior to making the change.
• Facilitate a root cause analysis for reported issues and track remedial action.
• Analyze and manage existing tools and dashboards.
• Manage, coordinate, and prioritize urgent and complicated support issues.
• Act as an escalation point for all questions, requests, and incidents.
• Monitor escalated issues and communicate to Leadership accordingly.
• Work with stakeholders to assess potential risks.
• Interact with external customers and internal stakeholders to triage escalated issues.
• Develop dashboards and metrics to monitor the backlog and to ensure service level targets are met.

Requirements:

• Knowledge of SQL and Cloud based data warehouse is required.
• The ability to run SQL queries and analyze the data is required.
• Strong Customer/Technical support knowledge and experience.

The successful candidate will have strong communication skills and a demonstrated ability to effectively lead and communicate with customers and staff across all levels and departments, including non-technical staff. They will have the ability to multi-task without sacrificing attention to detail or efficiency of work production. They can work autonomously, self-manage workload/deliverables, and take ownership of an issue or ticket for its entire life cycle.

Education and Experience:

• Bachelor's degree and 5-7 years of experience in the field or related area.
• Experience triaging data issues.
• Prior Data Governance experience a plus.

Position is Remote. Core working hours are generally central time zone but flexibility to accommodate Eastern or Pacific is needed on occasion.  Minimal travel to in-person workshops or client data onboarding sessions may be required.  

Pay Range expected for the position: $70,000 - $80,000 annually.

The position level and compensation for this role will be determined based on the location, experience and qualifications of the candidates.
