About the role

Description

The Department of Pediatrics, Section of Hematology/Oncology at the Yale University School of Medicine is seeking an outstanding, full-time Pediatric Hematologist/Oncologist who will be on the clinician-educator/academic clinician track at the Assistant or Associate  Professor level. This position will focus on clinical responsibilities in the Pediatric Specialties center located at West Putnam Street in Greenwich, CT as well as at Smilow Cancer Center and the Yale-New Haven Children’s Hospital (YNHCH), located in New Haven, CT.  The Hematologist/Oncologist should be committed to excellent clinical care and program development with enthusiasm for improving the quality of care not only for the section of Yale NPM, but also for the patient population of Greenwich and its surrounding communities.  The job may also include clinical responsibilities at other ambulatory locations of YNHCH. The ideal candidate will be enthusiastic about participation in the clinical, research, and educational mission of the Section, including training of residents and fellows, and the opportunity to participate in quality improvement efforts, clinical scholarship, and research.

Southern Connecticut boasts beautiful shoreline, excellent schools, numerous recreational opportunities, and easy access to New York City, as well as the New England shore and ski areas.

Qualifications

Applicants should be Board Certified or Board Eligible in Pediatric Hematology/Oncology and qualified for an appointment to the faculty at Yale School of Medicine.
