Senior Manager, Sports Media

Job Description

The Sr. Manager of Sports Media, ideally based in the Greater New York City/ Tri- State Area is responsible for all things sports across the dentsu portfolio of clients and agencies including Carat, dentsuX/360i, and iProspect. You will support both the dentsu Sports team and account leadership to ensure teams have all the needs as it pertains to sports.  You will include sports landscape and league news, new technologies and partners in sports, POVs, media alerts, research, client services, analysis, communications, and digital/ social media investment and activation.

• Build competitive and league ownership / corp. partners work
• Partner with research team for end of sport writeups and ratings throughout seasons
• Forecast what is next in sports to foster strategic contributions and improved processes
• Assist with building recommendations, POV’s, recaps, overviews, and analysis/comparisons
• Offer first class support to ensure excellent delivery and provide valuable takeaways
• Communicate the dentsu value proposition for sports
• Assist leadership with needs for new business pitches
• Recommend tactics to improve sports across the landscape in all media channels
• Own new client onboarding as needed in sports

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree
• 4+ years’ experience in the programmatic, digital, and/ or social industries
• Experience leading a team
• Collaboration mindset/team player
• Detail-oriented with strong attention to project management and completion
• Ability to prioritize multiple tasks
• Proactive and Solution- Oriented with strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills
• Strong analytical thinking and mathematical skills
• Experience working with business applications; MS Office Suite required

Additional Information

The anticipated Salary Range for the position is $68,000 - $110,400. Salary is based on a wide range of factors that include relevant experience, knowledge, skills, and other job- related qualifications, and geography.
