Western Union has an exciting career opportunity for a Senior Payroll Analyst, based in Dublin, Ireland.  
 
In this challenging role, based within the Dublin Shared Services Centre, as the Senior Payroll Analyst (Europe and UAE), you would benefit from working in a growing, professional and dynamic international environment.  

   

This position reports to the Senior Payroll Manager. Primary role is compiling, recording and analyzing routine payroll transactions within the European region   

Role Responsibilities   

  • Preparation of payrolls across the EMEASA region; 

  • Responding to inquiries from and providing information to employees, supervisors and HR partners across the region; 

  • Preparation of monthly reports as required; 

  • Assisting with special projects as they arise and playing an active role in initiating and implementing process improvements; 

  • May maintain vacation, sick leave and other records; 

  • May perform audits of data entered into HR system (Workday) to ensure accuracy and compliance. 

  • Monitor Vendors to ensure optimum service 

 

Role Requirements    

  • Bachelor's degree in accounting, Finance or equivalent, as well as an IPASS certification.  

  • Comprehensive knowledge of payroll practices, tax regulations, and compliance requirements 

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with high attention to detail 

  • Excellent organizational and time-management abilities 

  • Effective communication skills in English both written and verbal 

  •  Preferably strong system skillset, desire to be a top – class payroll professional and a Spain and/or Lithuanian payroll exper
