Job Description
The University of Nevada, Las Vegas invites applications for Administrative Assistant III, UNLV PRACTICE [R0150356].
ROLE of the POSITION
The UNLV PRACTICE is accepting applications for an Administrative Assistant III, which serves as the Office Manager for a busy community mental health training clinic.
Duties include, yet not limited to the following:
Supervision of student workers, include graduate assistants in implementing all front desk duties in compliance with all health care policies and procedures (e.g., HIPAA) related to client/patient flow; ensuring front desk coverage providing ongoing formative and summative evaluation of performance.
Management of client accounts including creating invoices, entering payments, allocating funds, resolving discrepancies and creating deposits for cashiering.
Oversight of electronic medical record system (EMR) including scheduling of clients, assisting student clinicians with appointments and room reservations, maintaining calendars and resolving conflicts in the system.
Physical maintenance of all clinic spaces on and off-campus including but not limited to ordering keys, requesting repairs, telecom requests, and keeping all spaces, furnishing and equipment in good repair, clean and organized.
Maintaining and organizing general operations/office supply inventory.
Assisting director in special projects related to clinic/office admiration as assigned.
This is an on-site position, Monday – Friday, no remote option is available.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE: Graduation from high school or equivalent education and three (3) years of progressively responsible relevant work experience which included experience in one or more of the following areas: maintenance of complex records and files; public/customer relations including explaining detailed policies, regulations and requirements; preparation
