About the role
As an RN in the EP Lab, you will play an integral role in delivering exceptional care. Using our patient-centered care model you will be uplifted by a supportive nursing organization and will be able to deliver the excellent care to your patients that they deserve.
- Deliver nursing care in the EP Lab, including assessing, diagnosing, planning, intervening, evaluating, and educating patients
- Communicate with various health care team members, patients, and their families
- Coordinate and delegate appropriate patient care activities to inter-professional colleagues
- Update and manage patient records
- Enter and interpret computerized data/information
- Follow guidelines and policies established by BMCHS’s nursing organization
- Assist the leadership team as needed in quality improvement projects
- Licensed to practice professional nursing as a registered nurse in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts.
- 6 years ICU experience required.
- Previous Med-Surge/EP Lab experience preferred.
- Certification in basic life support (BLS) required.
- Advanced Cardiac Life support (ACLS) certification required
- Nursing degree: Diploma, ASN or BSN (preferred), Ability to obtain BSN within 4 years
- Relevant clinical experience and/or specialty, certification required for certain practice areas
- Effective verbal and written communication skills
- Physical ability to meet job responsibilities
- Basic computer proficiency
- Fluency in another language a plus
